Meet Rowan
Rowan’s journey with mental health support began through a referral to CHEO via 1Call1Click, following struggles with attention, emotional regulation, and school avoidance. CHEO diagnosed Rowan with a rare mental health condition and worked closely with his family to try a unique medication protocol. Though the process was difficult, it led to major improvements—Rowan is now more emotionally regulated, socially engaged, and able to participate in daily life. His mom, Stacey, stresses the importance of persistence, advocacy, and hope, crediting CHEO’s collaborative approach for the life-changing progress. Rowan dreams of becoming a pilot, and his family is optimistic about his future.
